![]() But nothing really fun you need to make a build around. The weapons kind of are really uninspired as there is like 4 different types and they range from small to medium to heavy. I honestly wanted to like this game but this just made me uninstall it. Its literally just go into mildly varying dungeon, kill necrons that don't really act as a team and just run at you, rinse and repeat. Fetch quests with zero difference in mission approach where the actual cool part about the mission (like blowing up big statues of Necrons and finding flayed ones disease incubator) ARE JUST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TOLD TO YOU THROUGH TEXT AND HAVE NO GAMEPLAY IMPLICATIONS. Its always click deployment -> Add the units with the assault rifle (its objectively the best one) and maybe one big tin can of a robot (♥♥♥♥ servitors after you get the first troop) -> Go into a randomly generated room layout number 33123 and click to orange rhombuses and try not to fall asleep. The lore could have been more fleshed out or the mechanics of going into tombs could have been developing but no. The objectives changing from one to the other, the pointless glyphs and the events in tombs that carry out no bigger reason to exist (Like collecting more necron samples and whatnot does not tell you more lore it just punishes you most of the time). Yiiiikes some game mechanics make zero sense. More of a stream of consciousness of some things that I really disliked. There is no substantial strategy approach and variation. Some decent ideas with weaponry but honestly its as much of a pro as it is a con as weaponry does not develop and just becomes slightly different. The music is just a banger and honestly was a respite in the mind numbingly boring combat. It was a nice touch that the armor visually changed although not all mods on priests did change. Was honestly playing just to see more necron variety and their bosses. Honestly how visually stunning the game is carried most of the hours I have and I like creative license they took with how the necrons and their lords looked. The locations sometimes lose some polygons and look clay-made but generally they were quite nice to look at. Honestly whoever the art team was they need a raise because models (well maybe apart from the flayed ones as they look considerably better and scary in the old warhammer RTS games) are well made and really pretty. I have genuinely tried my best to slog through this game, but I cannot stomach it. I am genuinely surprised by how many good reviews of this game I have seen.
